1. Who we are & scope

This Cookie Policy explains how Poppy Health, Inc. and Poppy Health (Canada), Inc. ("Poppy") use cookies and similar technologies on www.poppy.com (the "Site"). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser storage (localStorage), pixels, tags, and SDKs. We use them for essential site functions, analytics, and advertising.

3. How we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary — required for security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. Always on.
  • Analytics — help us understand how the Site is used (Google Analytics). Off until you allow it.
  • Advertising — used by advertising partners (e.g. LinkedIn, AdRoll) to measure campaigns. Off until you allow it.

4. Your choices & Your Privacy Choices

When you first visit, our banner lets you Accept all, Reject all non-essential cookies, or Manage each category. You can change your choice at any time:

To opt out of advertising cookies and the "sharing" of identifiers for cross-context behavioural advertising, use the Cookie Settings control above and turn off Advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we honour it as an advertising opt-out automatically, and advertising stays off. Browser controls (e.g. clearing or blocking cookies) are a supplementary option.

5. Cookie inventory

The technologies below may be used on the Site. Advertising and analytics technologies load only after you allow the relevant category.

Inventory is verified against the live tag stack on a recurring basis; durations for third-party cookies are set by each provider.

6. Google Analytics & Google Consent Mode

We use Google Consent Mode. Before you make a choice, analytics and advertising storage are denied. Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies until you allow the Analytics category — so no analytics data is sent to Google beforehand. If you allow Analytics, Google Analytics helps us measure how the Site is used.

7. Advertising partners

When you allow Advertising, partners such as LinkedIn and AdRoll may set cookies or pixels to measure and deliver campaigns. This may involve "sharing" online identifiers with those partners for cross-context behavioural advertising, which you can opt out of at any time (see "Your choices" above). See each partner's privacy policy for details: LinkedIn, AdRoll / NextRoll.

8. Browser signals (GPC)

If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising and the "sharing" of your information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Advertising cookies stay off while the signal is present, without you needing to change any settings.

9. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We will update this page when our use of cookies changes materially and, where appropriate, re-prompt you for consent. The inventory review date appears at the top of this page.
