Most buildings run ventilation from assumptions: design intent, past commissioning, or "safe" conservative setpoints. But occupancy, tenant use, schedules, and equipment drift over time. The result is usually one of two problems: over-ventilation (conditioning more outdoor air than needed) or under-delivery in specific zones (uneven clean-air delivery and hard-to-explain complaints).

Plan with your team

We review your system configuration, schedules, and tenant constraints. Before we show up, we know which zones to prioritize, what access looks like, and what the comfort sensitivities are.

Baseline testing

We test representative zones in occupied conditions using aerosol tracers — the gold standard for accuracy. You get real ventilation rates, not estimates from a drawing.

2–3 days on-site per building

Tune

We propose low-lift adjustments: outdoor air strategy, schedules, setpoints, economizer logic. You review and approve every change. We never modify settings unilaterally.

We use ASHRAE-aligned testing to tune ventilation toward standards-based targets with real measurements from your building — making it easier to demonstrate compliance without relying on design assumptions.

Common engineer questions

Not to begin testing, and if changes require BAS updates, we will provide the precise prescriptions to your team or providers.

Your team stays in control. We provide recommended settings and can support implementation with your controls vendor or in-house staff.

Testing is designed around occupancy and access constraints. We minimize time in tenant spaces and plan ahead.

We'll quantify impact and options. If the fix costs more than the value, you're not forced into a bad decision.

Often yes. DCV helps with peaks, but many buildings still run conservative baselines. We measure what's actually happening and tune from there.
